We are happy to announce that PAMC is organising a trip to Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Centre, Mawlamyine, to attend and offer dana on the occasion of the Maha Dana, which falls on 29th January 2010.

Details of the trip is attached.

You may also make donations towards the purchase of items to be offered during the Maha Dana.

These items will be offered to ordained ones in person by the members of the PAMC delegation of the trip.

PA- AUK TAWYA MAHA DANA
26 – 30 January 2010

 

Dear Members

We are pleased to inform that PAMC plans to send a delegation to Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Centre, Mawlamyine, to attend and offer dana on the occasion of the Maha Dana 2010, which falls on 29 January 2010. For members who are interested to join the delegation, please register your interest. The PAMC Committee will assist the delegation in liason with Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Centre, booking of air tickets and arrangement of local transport upon arrival in Myanmar.

Travel Dates

Tentative travel dates: depart on 26 January 2010 for Yangon, back to Singapore on 30 January 2010, subject to availability of air tickets.

Trip Costs

Interested members are required to pay S$500 upon registration, for the booking of air tickets, visa fee and local transport. Should there be any surplus/deficit, it will be returned/debited to the member concerned, as appropriate.

Visa

As visa is required for travel to Myanmar, interested members are advised to fill in the visa application form available at PAMC office by 30 December 2009.
